Dr. Cyrille Bonnamy
Veterinarian
Dr. Cyrille Bonnamy (“Dr. B.”) knew as early as kindergarten that he wanted to become a veterinarian to treat sick animals around the world. He earned his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Maison-Alfort Veterinary School in France.
Following graduation, Dr. Bonnamy lived and worked in numerous countries across a variety of veterinary fields, including veterinary teaching and research in Canada; military working dog healthcare as a Veterinary Lieutenant in the French Air Force in Senegal and the Ivory Coast; general practice in New Caledonia; work in the pharmaceutical industry in France; and small animal medicine and surgery as a practice owner in the French West Indies. He eventually continued his career in the United States and has been caring for dogs, cats, and some exotic animals in South Florida for nearly a decade.
Dr. Bonnamy can discuss your pet’s overall health care in English, Spanish, French, and Creole, helping ensure clear communication and personalized care.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Bonnamy enjoys spending time with his wife, Sophie, and their son, Cyriac. They fostered and later adopted their dog, Jet, and their cat, Twist, who are both very interested in the lizards and squirrels around their neighborhood.
